Bishop of Bhagalpur

Dear Sister Regina,

I am very happy to know that the Order of the Most Holy Saviour of St. Bridget is celebrating the completion of 75 years of their presence and service in India. On this auspicious occasion, I join you in spirit in thanking and praising the Lord for the wonders He has done during the past seventy-five Years through the sisters of your congregation in India.

The sapling, which was planted in the year 1937 in Marikunnu, Kerala, has grown into a huge glorious tree with its branches bearing fruits of apostolic works you render to the poor, marginalized, illiterate and Christian unity, following in the footsteps of St. Bridget. I gratefully acknowledge the generous service and support of the Bridgettines to Bhagalpur Diocese.

I take this opportunity to congratulate you and all the members of the Order of the Most Holy Saviour of St. Bridget on your 75 years of commitment and selfless service to God’s people in India. May God continue to bless all of you in your various apostolates.

Invoking abundant blessings of God through the intercession of the Mother Mary and of St. Bridget upon the entire Bridgettine community, I remain,

With best wishes and prayers,

Yours sincerely in Jesus
