Bishop of Mangalore

Dear Sr. M. Regina Kalathil,

I am immensely happy to be informed that Bridgettine Sisters this year will be celebrating 75 fruitful years of their presence in India. I hasten to send my hearty congratulations, warm felicitations and best wishes of the Platinum Jubilee to the Delegation, Convent of St. Brigitta, Bangalore and to all office-bearers and members of Bridgettine communities in India. We are pound of this great institution whose members live an exemplary life in the service of the Church and humanity.

Celebration of the Platinum Jubilee of the presence in India is an occasion to thank the Lord, who walked with you during the past three quarters of century. It was He who continued to inspire and strengthen you. It is also an occasion to look forward to live in His presence and bear witness to Him with greater commitment.

We are privileged to have Bridgettine Sisters in Mangalore Diocese. All of them are doing good work and witness to Jesus by their life. They draw strength from the Eucharistic Lord and render loving service to the Church and society. Everyone has a good word to say about them. No doubt their presence is a blessing to the Diocese.

On the occasion of the Platinum Jubilee, me earnest desire is that you continue to live in the presence of the Lord and serve Him with total dedication in the years to come.

With renewed blessings and prayers,

Most Rev. Aloysius Paul D’Souza
Bishop of Mangalore
