At the request of Most Rev. Dr. Kagithapu Mariadas a new foundation was established in Vizag, mainly to start a hostel for working women. Vizage with its adjective ‘the city of destiny’ and being the second largest city in Andhra Pradesh, there was a need to provide a facility for the working women for their safe boarding and lodging in the city. A suitable location was found at Soldierpet belonging to the diocese, and after a long wait of 15 years the plan of starting the convent was realized on 22nd August 2008.

The community engages in various works of the parish apostolate and to support them in whatever way possible. The community also has a pre-nursery school where a few children a few children are being taken care of.
